If a stack holds several food cards, can you eat them all in one action?
The rulebook says an action cannot be taken while another is in progress.

No. Each food card has its own eat action, separate and optional, and each costs one durability pip of the stack. The eaten card is removed as it is used, so combining food does not let you eat several at once.
