Card Identification

The cards of this expansion each have a unique ID number, going from #02431 to #02470.

You may prepare them in the game box before you start your game, following the same guidelines as with cards from the base game and making sure that for each number, green Adventure cards are placed before any gold Adventure cards.

Setup

If you choose to play with this expansion, shuffle the 4 "The strangest encounter!" Action cards into the Action Deck before the game begins. You may incorporate the Exploration cards from this expansion even if you initially decide not to play with the "The strangest encounter!" cards.

Returning Cards to the Board

When you are to return all the cards on the Board, remove any flying root figures that are in play.

Mastery "X"

If you draw X cards or less in the Action Deck during the Cost step and the action is a success, you may shuffle some or all of these cards back into the Action Deck during the Skill step.

The Strangest Encounter!

The four "The strangest encounter!" Action cards are numbered #02431 to #02434. Their rules text is given below as printed on card #02434, the only one of the four whose text is fully legible in the photo.

#02434 "The strangest encounter!"

A huge plant suddenly emerges and floats towards you, a bizarre phenomenon that leaves you quite baffled.

When this is revealed during the Result step of an action: if there is at least 1 flying root figure on your Terrain card, this action is a failure.

Otherwise, during the Consequence step, put 1 flying root figure into play (if none is available, move one that is already in play) on your Terrain card.

Take a 861 card from the Adventure Deck if available & discard this.

#02431, #02432, #02433 "The strangest encounter!"

On these three cards the title and card number are visible, but the rules text is covered by the card in front of each one, and the photo shows only fragments of it. Their full printed text is therefore not transcribed here, and this file does not assume it is identical to #02434. Check these three cards against a clearer photo or the printed cards before relying on this section for them.
