Component Breakdown

  • 1 Plastic Figure (Lando Calrissian)
  • 2 Deployment Cards (Lando Calrissian, Heroic Effort)
  • 1 Side Mission Card (Paying Debts)
  • 2 Skirmish Mission Cards (Lothal Safehouse)
  • 1 Reward Card (Lady Luck)
  • 1 Condition Card (Hidden)
  • 4 Command Cards (Black Market Prices, Cheat to Win, Stall for Time, Tough Luck)

Setup and Integration

  • Add the Deployment and Command cards to their supplies.
  • If you own the The Bespin Gambit expansion, add the Side Mission card to the pool of gray Side Mission cards.
  • Shuffle the Skirmish Mission cards into the Skirmish Mission deck. These cards use the "Lothal Safehouse" map (see below).

Dice Types

Some abilities refer to a die's type. A die's type is either "attack" or "defense."

  • Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow dice are attack dice.
  • Black and White dice are defense dice.

Hidden

Hidden is a new condition whose effects are detailed on its Condition card. Since this expansion does not include condition tokens for Hidden, a coin or other suitable substitute may be used. These tokens are included in the The Bespin Gambit expansion.

Lothal Safehouse (Skirmish Map)

The Lothal Safehouse skirmish map is used by the two Skirmish Mission cards in this pack. The map shows two token types:

  • Artifact tokens (marked "A" on the map)
  • Hidden Shipment tokens (marked "B" on the map)

Side Mission: Paying Debts

This map requires The Bespin Gambit expansion. (Printed on the Paying Debts map as a required-expansion notice.)

Deployment and Setup

  • Initial Groups: Ugnaught Tinkerer, Ugnaught Tinkerer (2), Wing Guard.
  • Reserved Groups: Imperial Officer.
  • Open Groups: 3.
  • Special Setup: Increase threat by twice the threat level and resolve an optional deployment. Heroes cannot bring Lando Calrissian to this mission.

Event Summary

  • Round 1: The Upper Hand
  • Round 6: End of Mission
  • Blue terminal discarded: Extra Security
  • Door opened: Cornered!
  • Red terminal discarded and Ras defeated or all heroes wounded: End of Mission

Mission Briefing

Some credits at a seedy cantina help you discover a black market sale at a dock in the lower levels. A few more credits reveal a name: Ras. This is not the name you wanted to hear. He's the Rebellion's primary shipping contact on Cloud City.

  • The door is locked.
  • While attacking, the Junk Droid gains Pierce 1.
  • A Rebel figure can interact with the blue terminal (eye icon or hand icon) to discard it and unlock the door to Rebel figures.
  • The mission progresses when the door is opened (door symbol).
  • The mission ends at the end of Round 6, or when all heroes are wounded.

The Upper Hand

At the end of Round 1:

"Ras, I told you what would happen if you 'lost' another one of my shipments," you overhear, punctuated by blaster fire. You aren't the only aggrieved party.

  • Deploy Lando Calrissian to the entrance.
  • Increase threat by 6 and resolve an optional deployment.

Extra Security

When the blue terminal is discarded:

  • Increase threat by the threat level and resolve an optional deployment.

Cornered!

When the door is opened:

"Looks like you rubes were paying attention, after all." Ras fidgets with a console. "But you're too late. I've got a deal with the Empire, and these shipping logs will make me rich. Who would have known 'to' and 'from' labels could be so valuable? Your secret bases won't be secret for long!"

  • The red deployment point is now active.
  • Increase threat by the threat level and resolve an optional deployment.
  • Deploy the reserved Imperial Officer to the red point. The Imperial Officer is Ras.
  • Apply additional Health to Ras equal to the threat level.
  • A Rebel figure can interact with the red terminal (2 eye icon or hand icon) to discard it.
  • The mission ends when the red terminal is discarded and Ras is defeated (door symbol).

End of Mission

When the red terminal is discarded and Ras is defeated:

You put a few more holes in the console before turning back to the wounded Ras. His interference ended; he will answer directly to High Command.

"I told you this would happen," Lando gloats, looking over the wares. "Ah, this is good brandy. My lucky day."

  • Rebel players choose one hero to receive the "Lady Luck" reward card.

At the end of Round 6 or when all heroes are wounded:

Unaware of the situation, additional Wing Guard arrive to find you assaulting a critical industrial dock. You are led away under guard. Though Lando helps you smooth things over (with a sizable sum of credits), you were unable to resolve Ras's treachery.

  • The Imperial player receives 2 influence.

Additional Rewards

  • Each player receives 1 XP. Heroes receive 100 credits per hero. The Imperial player receives 1 influence.

Transcription Notes

  • Icon glyphs (eye, hand, door, threat and the dice-result symbols) are described in words where the sheet prints them as symbols, because the sheet's own icon names are not legible in the scan. The printed meaning is unchanged.
  • The sheet's footer lists card reference numbers for the Paying Debts side mission and the Lothal Safehouse skirmish cards. These are a card index, not rules, and are omitted.
  • The Hidden condition's effects, the Priceless Relics artifact text, and the Command and Deployment card text are printed on those cards, not on the rules sheet; the sheet only shows their images and does not reproduce their text. They are not transcribed here.
