Setup
Board Setup
The following is the setup for 3 to 4 players. See "Two-Player Rules" and "Solo Rules" below for setup changes when playing with 2 players or for the solo mode.
- Place the Main board, Birdcage board, and Forest board in the center of the table.
- Place the bird tokens (sorted by type), egg tokens, and Additional Area tiles next to the Main board. This area is called the supply.
- Separate the Milestone tiles by the alphabet letter (A/B/C/D) on their front side. Randomly select 3 A tiles, 3 B tiles, 2 C tiles, and 1 D tile. Shuffle the selected tiles together and place one face-up on each of the 9 birdcage spaces on the Birdcage board. Return the remaining Milestone tiles to the box.
- Place the five Early Bonus tiles on their corresponding bonus spaces on the Birdcage board.
- From the supply, take one of each Regular Bird token (Shimaenaga, Warbling White-Eye, Hawk, Flamingo, Toucan, and Swan) and line them up below the Birdcage board. These are called Bonus Bird tokens.
- Put 16 green Bird chips into the cloth bag and mix them well.
- Draw 2 chips from the cloth bag and place them face-up on the Forest board. Place one corresponding bird token from the supply on each of these chips.
- Put all 4 blue Advertisement/Special Bird chips into the cloth bag. From the orange Round chips, find the Round 1 chip and put it into the cloth bag. Then mix the contents of the cloth bag well.
- The Main board has a number of connected spaces around the outside called the Main track. For each space on the Main board track, draw one chip randomly from the cloth bag and place it face-up on the space.
- Place 3 Special Bird cards next to the Main board. Place all corresponding Special Bird tokens on each card.
- Place all tree tokens and Nest tiles on the Forest board.
- Place the Round marker on the "1" space of the Round track in the center of the Main board.
Player Setup
Each player then performs the following setup.
-
Each player receives one Aviary board and one Nest Box. Place both in front of you.
-
Place one Cover tile of the correct shape over each of the 6 lakes on your Aviary board.
-
Each player receives 2 Event cards face down at random. Look at both, choose one, and place it face-up to the right of your Aviary board. All players do this simultaneously. Return all unchosen and undistributed Event cards to the box.
-
Each player randomly receives one Starting Setup card. Following the instructions on the card, prepare your board as follows in the specified areas:
- Take one Nest tile from the Forest board and place it.
- Take one tree token from the Forest board and place it.
- Remove one Cover tile and set it to the side of your Aviary board (the uncovered lake should now be visible).
After setup, return all Starting Setup cards to the box.
-
Take one Fund marker and place it on the "2" space of the Funds/Eggs track at the top of your Aviary board.
-
Take one egg token of your choice from the supply and place it on the "0" space of the Funds/Eggs Track. This will be your Egg marker. Note: There are 3 egg colors, but they are functionally identical. You may use any color at any time.
-
Choose a player color and take the following components in that color: 1 Owner token, 1 Employee token, and 10 cubes.
-
Place the Employee token on the space outlined with a dotted line on the Employee path of the Aviary board.
-
Place one of your cubes on the leftmost space of your Event card; this becomes your Event marker. Place the remaining 9 cubes on the Milestone track on the left side of your Aviary board.
Funds
Funds are a resource gained and spent throughout the game. When gaining funds, move the Fund marker right the corresponding number of spaces. The maximum funds you can hold is 15. Any excess over 15 is lost. When spending funds, move the marker to the left. If you don't have sufficient funds, you cannot take actions that require payment.
Game Flow
The game is played over 3 rounds with 3 players and 4 rounds with 4 players. After the designated number of rounds, final scoring takes place, and the player with the most victory points is declared the winner.
Round Flow
Each round consists of the following two phases, performed in order:
- Action Phase. The player whose Owner token is farthest behind on the Main track takes their turn by moving their Owner token forward along the track. This process continues until all Owner tokens have completed one full loop of the track.
- Next Round Preparation Phase. Prepare for the next round. This phase is skipped in the final round: once the Action phase ends, proceed directly to final scoring.
1. Action Phase
Important Note About Turn Order
During the Action phase, players take their turns, but not necessarily in clockwise order. The player whose Owner token is farthest behind on the Main track always takes the next turn.
On your turn, move your Owner token forward any number of spaces along the Main track. If, after moving, your token is still the farthest behind, you will take another turn immediately.
At the start of the round, all Owner tokens begin on the Standby track. On this track, tokens positioned lower are considered farther behind (and will take their turns earlier).
On Your Turn
On your turn, perform the following three steps in order.
- Move Your Owner Token
- Resolve Chip Actions
- Resolve Space Actions (if applicable)
You may also perform any free actions at any time during your turn. Once you have completed everything, your turn ends. The next turn goes to the player whose Owner token is now farthest behind on the track.
If there are no spaces left on the Main track that you can or want to stop on, move your Owner token to the Standby track during Step 1 and enter Standby (as explained later). Once all players have moved to standby, proceed to 2. Next Round Preparation Phase.
1. Move Your Owner Token
Move your Owner token clockwise along the Main track by as many spaces as you wish. There is no upper limit to the number of spaces you may move, but you must move at least one space on your turn. You cannot stop on a space occupied by another Owner token. Moving your Owner token backward (counterclockwise) is not allowed.
Move to Standby
If there are no more spaces you wish to stop at (or can legally stop at) on the Main track, place your Owner token on the lowest available space of the Standby track. (This allows you to take your turn earlier in the next round.) Your turn ends immediately, and you exit the current Action Phase. In other words, you will be skipped for the remainder of this Action Phase.
Once all players have moved to the Standby track, proceed to 2. Next Round Preparation Phase (or final scoring, if it's the last round).
2. Resolve Chip Actions
Check the color of the chip on the space where your Owner token finally landed. Perform the action corresponding to the color.
Note: The chip is not removed after the action is performed.
If the chip is green
Green chips are called Bird chips. Their action allows you to add a bird token to your Aviary board.
First, take one bird token (of the bird shown on the chip) from the supply and place it temporarily beside your Aviary board.
Next, move your Employee token 1 to 3 spaces clockwise along the Employee path on your Aviary board. This movement is mandatory.
After you finish moving your Employee token, place the bird token you placed beside your Aviary board into one of the areas on your Aviary board. You may only place it in one of the two areas adjacent to the space where your Employee token landed.
Additional Employee Movement. Normally, an Employee token may move up to 3 spaces clockwise. However, after moving 3 spaces, you may pay 1 fund to move a 4th space, and pay 1 more fund (2 in total) to move a 5th space. You can pay to move up to 2 additional spaces per turn, meaning a maximum of 5 spaces in total. Therefore, you cannot move an Employee all the way around the path to return to the space where it started.
Events. Along the Employee path, there is one arrow with an Event icon. When your Employee token passes this icon, you immediately gain funds from your Event card based on the position of the Event marker.
At the start of the game, the Event marker is placed on the leftmost space (1 fund). Therefore, the first time you move your Employee token, you will gain 1 fund.
The two rightmost areas on your Aviary board are called Event areas. Your Event card shows a set of Bird tokens. Always adjust the Event marker on your Event card according to how many sets of the depicted Bird tokens you have placed in your Event areas (for this purpose, it does not matter how the Bird tokens are distributed among the two Event areas). Your Event marker cannot advance beyond the rightmost space on the card.
Example: You have an Event card that rewards you for "Sets of Warbling White-Eye and Hawk tokens". You have 2 Warbling White-Eye tokens in the upper Event area and 2 Hawk tokens in the lower Event area. This makes 2 full sets. When your Employee crosses the Event icon, you will immediately gain 3 funds.
After receiving the event income, you may continue moving your Employee token for the remaining number of spaces. Since the income is received the moment you pass the Event icon, you may also immediately spend those funds to move your Employee additional spaces (a 4th and/or 5th space, if desired).
Placement Rules
When placing a bird token (or any other component) in an area, you must follow the Placement Rules below.
- Each bird token (and other component) that can be placed in an area has a specific, fixed size. The size of each area is 4. The total size of the bird tokens placed within a single area must not exceed the area's size (in other words, you cannot place bird tokens whose total size is 5 or more).
- However, if there is a tree token or a lake in the area, the area's size increases by 2, making the total size 6. The method of obtaining tree tokens and lakes will be explained later.
- Only one Nest tile can exist in each area. Similarly, only one tree token can be placed per area.
- Tree tokens must be placed on the icon depicted on the Cover tile. Therefore, an area that has a tree cannot have a lake. Likewise, an area with a lake cannot have a tree.
- You may have multiple tokens of the same bird type within a single area.
| Type | Size |
|---|---|
| Shimaenaga token | 1 |
| Warbling White-Eye token | 1 |
| Toucan token | 1 |
| Hawk token | 2 |
| Flamingo token | 2 |
| Swan token | 3 |
| Nest tile | 0 |
| Tree token | 0 (expands area size by 2) |
| Lake | 0 (expands area size by 2) |
Example: In one area, there are 2 Hawk tokens, 1 Flamingo token, 1 Nest tile, and a lake. The total size of the bird tokens is 6, but the presence of a lake increases the area's size by 2 (from 4 to 6) which satisfies the placement rules.
Additional Purchases
On their turn, a player may freely perform the following additional purchases either immediately before or immediately after placing a bird token taken from the Main board (after moving their Employee token).
- Pay 2 funds to take 1 Nest tile or 1 tree token from the Forest board and place it in an area adjacent to the space where the Employee token is located. This action may be performed as many times as desired, as long as there are available tiles or tokens on the Forest board.
- Pay 2 funds to remove 1 Cover tile from an area adjacent to the space where the Employee token is located, and place the tile next to your Aviary board. This reveals a lake in that area. This action may be performed as many times as possible, if desired.
- Pay 2 funds to take 1 bird token (including Special tokens) of your choice from the Forest board (never from the supply) and place it in an area adjacent to the space where the Employee token is located. You may only purchase 1 bird token per turn from the Forest board. If you purchase a Bird token off a Bird chip, it is not replenished.
- Pay 4 funds to purchase 1 Additional Area tile from the supply and place it next to your Aviary Board, choosing either the tree side or lake side face up. Each player may only purchase 1 Additional Area tile during the game.
The Additional Area tile has the following properties:
- It counts as your 7th area and follows all standard rules regarding areas.
- It is always considered adjacent to the space where your Employee token is located.
- It is not an Event area.
- The Additional Area tile is double-sided (tree/lake) and you must choose one side to use at the time of purchase; it cannot be flipped later. If you choose the tree side, immediately take one tree token from the Forest board for free and place it on the Additional Area. The tree or lake on this tile functions just like a normal one; however, the tree cannot be moved to the Forest board, and the lake cannot be refilled (see the "Move to the Forest Board and Refill Lakes" section).
- You cannot return or discard a purchased Additional Area tile.
Example: During your turn, you gained 1 Flamingo token through a chip action. However, the area where you plan to place the Flamingo has no remaining space. So, you pay 2 funds to uncover a lake in that area, increasing the area's size and allowing you to place the Flamingo. Then, you pay 4 funds to purchase an Additional Area tile, and then pay 2 more funds to purchase a Hawk token, which you place in the Additional Area.
Important: You cannot perform additional purchases before moving your Employee token.
If the chip is blue
Blue chips are called Advertisement/Special Bird chips. When you land on one, you may choose either to use an advertisement or to purchase a special token.
Important: On a turn where your Owner token lands on an Advertisement/Special Bird chip, you may not move your Employee token (unlike when landing on a Bird chip or Round chip). No additional purchases may be made on this turn.
Advertisement. Choose one of the 4 advertisements shown in the center of the Main board and gain funds as follows:
- Small Bird Advertisement: Gain 2 funds for each set of 1 Shimaenaga and 1 Warbling White-Eye token (up to a maximum of 6 funds).
- Forest Advertisement: Gain 1 fund for each Hawk token and/or tree token you have (up to a maximum of 7 funds).
- Lakeside Advertisement: Gain 1 fund for each Flamingo token and/or lake you have (up to a maximum of 7 funds).
- Rare Bird Advertisement: Multiply the number of Swan tokens by the number of Toucan tokens, then multiply by 2 and gain that amount in funds (up to a maximum of 8 funds).
When counting sets or tokens, include all areas on your Aviary Board and Additional Area tile. You may form sets using tokens from different areas.
Example: You move your Owner token onto an Advertisement/Special Bird chip and choose the Rare Bird Advertisement. You have 1 Swan token and 1 Toucan token on your Aviary Board, so you gain: 1 x 1 x 2 = 2 funds.
Purchase a Special Bird Token. Choose one of the available Special Bird cards and purchase one Special Bird token from that card. First, pay the cost shown on the chosen Special Bird card. Then, take one Special Bird token from that card and place it in any of your areas, regardless of the position of your Employee token. Remember that you cannot move your Employee token or make any additional purchases after this action.
Special Bird tokens have the following features:
- Each bird has a size and a unique ability, as shown on its corresponding card.
- You cannot place more than one of the same type of Special Bird token in a single area. However, you may purchase the same type again as long as you place it in a different area.
- Once placed in an area, the Special Bird token is treated the same as a Regular Bird token except for its ability. You can move it to the Forest board (as explained later) or purchase it from the Forest board for 2 funds.
If the chip is orange
Orange chips are called Round chips. These chips modify the bird tokens that appear in each round, and during the Action phase, they are treated exactly the same as the green Bird chips. Therefore, you perform the same actions with an orange chip as you would with a green chip. For orange chips that appear in Rounds 2 and 4, you may choose to acquire one of the two bird tokens shown on the chip.
3. Resolve Space Actions (if applicable)
When your Owner token lands on a space with any of the icons below, you may perform the corresponding action. Please note that space actions are only performed after resolving the chip action (and any additional purchases). Some icons are only used in 3- or 4-player games.
Breed
This action allows two bird tokens of the same type to lay an egg.
First, check your areas for any that meet the following breeding condition:
Breeding Condition: An area contains a Nest tile with 2 bird tokens of the same type.
Nest Tile
- Nest tiles have no size and are used solely for breeding.
- At any time during the game, you may move a bird token onto a Nest tile from within the same area, or move it off the Nest tile back into the same area (see Free Actions for details).
- A Nest tile can hold up to 2 bird tokens, and both must be Regular Bird tokens of the same type.
- Bird tokens on a Nest tile are still considered to be in the same area, and except during breeding, they are treated the same as tokens not on the Nest tile.
- As mentioned earlier, each area can only have 1 Nest tile.
For each of your areas that meets the breeding condition, check the type of Regular Bird token on the Nest tile. You collect 1 egg of that bird type, as described below.
How to Collect Eggs
- If you collect 1 egg of a type you don't already have, take 1 egg token from the supply and place it on the corresponding bird icon in your Nest Box.
- If you collect 1 egg of a type you already have (i.e. there is already an egg token on the corresponding icon in your Nest Box), move your Egg marker 1 space to the right on your Funds/Eggs Track. If the Egg marker is already on the rightmost space, you gain nothing.
The Nest tile and the bird tokens on it are not removed after breeding.
Example: Your Aviary has 4 areas with Nest tiles. Two of them have 2 Shimaenaga tokens each, one has 2 Toucan tokens, and one does not have a matching pair of bird tokens. When you perform the breed action, you gain 2 Shimaenaga eggs and 1 Toucan egg. Since you don't yet have any Shimaenaga eggs, place an egg token from the supply onto the Shimaenaga icon in your Nest Box, then advance your Egg marker one space to the right. You already have a Toucan egg, so you advance your Egg marker one more space to the right.
Purchase a Special Bird Token
Perform the exact same procedure as the "Purchase a Special Bird Token" action of the Advertisement/Special Bird chip.
Free Actions
During your turn, you may perform the following free actions at any timing you like: before, after, or even in between steps 1, 2, and 3. You may also perform them during a turn when you are transitioning to the Standby phase.
Achieve Milestone Tiles
You may perform this free action when there is a Milestone tile on the Birdcage board that meets both of the following conditions:
- You have fulfilled the condition written on the tile.
- No cube of yours is yet placed in the cube space below that tile.
If there are any tiles meeting both conditions, take the top cube from your Milestone track and place it left-aligned in the cube space under that tile. By doing so, you have achieved that Milestone tile.
You may achieve multiple Milestone tiles during a single turn. Once a Milestone tile is achieved and a cube is placed, you do not have to maintain the tile's condition thereafter.
Milestone tiles are arranged in a 3-by-3 grid (3 columns x 3 rows). When you have achieved all three tiles in the same column or row, immediately gain the bonus at the bottom of that column or the left of that row.
If there is an Early Bonus tile, gain the bonus indicated and then return that Early Bonus tile to the box. If there is no Early Bonus tile, gain the bonus printed on the board.
If you would like to delay receiving a bonus, you may choose not to achieve a Milestone tile even if you meet its conditions.
The conditions and bonuses for each Milestone tile are introduced in the Appendix at the end of this rulebook.
Move to the Forest Board and Refill Lakes
You can move any number of birds or tree tokens from your Aviary board (or Additional Area tile) to the Forest board. Bird tokens moved onto the Forest board (including Special tokens) become available for anyone to acquire as an additional purchase by paying 2 funds.
You may also refill a lake by returning the removed Cover tile to the original area.
Note: When you move tree tokens or refill lakes, the size of the area decreases. If as a result, the total size of the bird tokens exceeds the area size, you must adjust accordingly by simultaneously moving bird tokens or otherwise to comply with the rules.
Place and Remove Bird Tokens on Nest Tiles
For Nest tiles within an area, you can place bird tokens from the same area onto the Nest tile or remove them back onto the area. However, you cannot swap bird tokens during the breed action.
After completing steps 1 to 3 and as many free actions as you wish, your turn ends.
2. Next Round Preparation Phase
Important: In the final round, this phase is skipped, and you proceed directly to final scoring.
Perform the following steps in order:
- If any bird tokens remain on green chips on the Forest board, move them onto the Forest Board.
- Remove the Round chip from the Main track and set it aside.
- Following steps 6 to 9 of the Setup, prepare the Forest board and Main track for the next round. Be sure to use the orange Round chip corresponding to the upcoming round.
- Move the Round marker one space down on the Round track.
The next round begins with the player whose Owner token is at the bottom of the Standby track.
Game End and Final Scoring
After the Action phase of the third round in a 3-player game, or the fourth round in a 4-player game, the game ends. Each player calculates their victory points as follows:
Bird Tokens in Your Aviary
For each of your 6 areas (if you have an Additional Area tile, then 7), you score victory points from the tokens placed as follows:
- For each set of Shimaenaga and Warbling White-Eye tokens within the same area, score 4 victory points if there is at least one tree token in that area; otherwise, gain 2 victory points.
- For each Hawk token, score 3 victory points if there is at least one tree token in that area; otherwise, score 2 victory points.
- For each Flamingo token, score 3 victory points if there is a lake in that area; otherwise, score 2 victory points.
- For each Toucan token, score 3 victory points if there is a lake in that area; otherwise, score 2 victory points.
- For each Swan token, score 5 victory points if there is a lake in that area; otherwise, score 3 victory points.
- For each Special Bird token, score victory points as indicated on its corresponding Special Bird card.
Tree tokens and lakes only boost the victory points gained from bird tokens in the area; by themselves, they do not generate victory points.
Eggs
Check the following two values:
- The number of egg tokens in your Nest Box.
- The number of Egg points shown above the space where your Eggs marker is on the Fund/Eggs track.
Multiply these two numbers, and score that amount in victory points.
Milestones
Check the lowest space on your Milestone track that does not have a cube on it, and score the victory points shown to its left.
Event Cards
Check the position of the Event marker on the Event card and score the victory points shown at the bottom of that column.
Standby Track
Score the victory points shown to the right of the space on the Standby track where your Owner token is located. (The earlier you move to Standby in the final round, the more victory points you gain.)
Additional Area Tile
Score 3 victory points if you have an Additional Area tile (in addition to the points scored from the tokens placed on the tile).
The player with the most total victory points is the winner! In case of a tie, all players tied for the highest score are declared winners.
Two-Player Rules
Game Play
All rules for a 3-player game apply, except for the following changes.
When playing Sky Garden with two players, a neutral owner token named Lucy (not belonging to any player) is placed on the Main track. In principle, the setup and rules for three players are followed, but the following additional setup and rule changes apply specifically for Lucy:
-
Acquiring Bird Tokens: When advancing your Owner token, you acquire Bird tokens. You must acquire exactly one bird token from each section. Therefore, you will obtain a total of 5 bird tokens per round from the 5 sections.
Note: You cannot choose to skip all spaces for any section. If you do not want to place any bird token from a section into one of your areas, you can move your Owner token to one of the spaces in that section and then move the acquired bird token to the Forest board. In addition, you cannot stop on 2 or more spaces in the same section during one round.
-
During setup, one unused color Owner token is designated as Lucy and placed on the space marked "3rd" on the standby track.
-
During the game, if Lucy is furthest behind, Lucy moves forward to the nearest possible space and ends their turn.
-
Owner tokens of players cannot move to the same space as Lucy. Lucy exists solely to enforce this restriction and does not gain any bird tokens or other benefits.
-
If Lucy cannot move forward because no spaces are available, Lucy moves to the lowest available space on the Standby track.
At the end of the third round of the Action phase, the game ends. Final scoring follows the same rules as in a 3- or 4-player game and the player with the most victory points wins. Lucy does not gain any victory points.
Sections. The Main track alternates between 3 Bird or Round chips and 1 Advertisement/Special Bird chip. Each group of 3 consecutive Bird or Round chips is referred to as a Section. There are a total of 5 Sections on the Main track, each separated by an Advertisement/Special Bird chip.
Solo Rules
Sky Garden can be played solo! Challenge yourself to achieve a high score or build your ideal aviary.
Setup
Set up the game as for a 3-player game, with the following changes:
- Choose any 3 Special Bird cards you like.
- When placing chips on the Main track, place Advertisement/Special Bird chips on the locations shown in the diagram in the original rulebook. Place all other chips randomly on the available spaces.
- Use only your own Owner token.
- Advertisement/Special Bird Chips: The 4 Advertisement/Special Bird chips can each be used only once per game. When you land on a space with an Advertisement/Special Bird chip, perform its action and then flip that chip face down.
- Space Actions: Ignore all Breed icons and Purchase a Special Bird Token icons printed on the Main track.
- Milestone Bonuses: When acquiring a Bonus Bird token, choose one from 6 types as usual. For all other milestone bonuses, you always receive the bonus indicated on the Early Bonus tile.
- Moving to Standby: When moving to Standby, place your Owner token on the bottom space of the Standby track. Upon entering the track, immediately perform the following number of breed actions:
- 1st Round: 1 time
- 2nd Round: 1 time
- 3rd Round: 2 times
- Next Round Preparation Phase: Advertisement/Special Bird chips are not returned to the bag but remain on their current spaces. Place chips for the Main track only on the remaining empty spaces.
End of Game and Final Scoring
After the Action phase of Round 3, perform final scoring in the same way as a 3-player game. We recommend setting your initial goal at 130 victory points or above. If you reach 150 victory points or more, your aviary undoubtedly has a long queue of visitors!
Appendix: Milestone Tiles
Each letter (A, B, C, D) has several tile variants; the required bird tokens and numbers are shown by icons on each tile (icons are not reproduced here). Each row below lists the tile conditions for that letter:
- A: Across all areas combined, you have the required number of bird tokens (or more). / Within one area, you have all the required bird tokens.
- B: Across all areas combined, you have the required number of bird tokens (or more). / Within one area, you have all the required bird tokens.
- C: Across all areas combined, you have the required number of elements (or more). / You have 7 funds (or more). / The Egg marker on the Funds/Eggs track is on the 6 funds space (or any space to the right of it).
- D: Across all areas combined, you have 2 Special Bird tokens (or more). / Within one area, you have the required bird token and one Special Bird token (or more).
Bonuses for Achieving Milestones
Bonuses are gained immediately when you have achieved all three milestone tiles in a column or row.
Early Bonus Tiles
- Gain 4 funds.
- Purchase any Special Bird token on a Special Bird card. The purchase cost is reduced by 3 (cannot go below 0).
- Choose one bonus bird token remaining below the Birdcage board, and place it in any area regardless of the position of your Employee token. These are treated the same as Regular Bird tokens of the same type. Bonus bird tokens are not replenished during the game. (This bonus is the same for both Early and Regular bonuses.)
- Take one egg token from the supply and place it on the Golden Egg icon in the center of the Nest Box. This is the only way to place an egg token there.
- Receive any combination of tree tokens, lakes, or Nest tiles. You may take two of the same type. Regardless of the position of your Employee token, these may be placed in any area.
- Move the Egg marker on the Funds/Eggs track forward by two spaces.
Regular Bonus Tiles
- Gain 2 funds.
- Purchase any Special Bird token on a Special Bird card. The purchase cost is reduced by 1 (cannot go below 0).
- Gain one egg token of your choice.
- Receive one Tree token, lake, or Nest tile. Regardless of the position of your Employee token, these may be placed in any area.
- Move the Egg marker on the Funds/Eggs track forward by one space.
