The Solar Barge
The Solar Barge is a Unique Gift of a new type altogether
After placing Akhenaton in the last five cards of the deck, draw four new cards and shuffle them with the Solar Barge. Place these five cards between the deck and the five cards containing Akhenaton. Note: The solar barge is not considered a Foreign Gift and does not get put in Memphis. The value of the solar barge is two points for each other Gift card that the player has. The card can be scored during the game by using a Scribe or Royal Servant, or at the end of the game with the other Gifts. Example: William has before him two Necklaces, a Double Senet, and a Foreign Mirror. He also has the solar barge, which at that moment has a value of eight points = (2 + 1 + 1) × 2.
Until the solar barge has been acquired by a player, its value is undefined and thus can be neither exchanged by a Merchant, nor stolen by the Roaming Thief. Because it is unique, it can not be exchanged by a Merchant. Nonetheless, it may be stolen by the Thief from the closed market, or turned face-down by the Beggar.
