Components
- 50 quiz cards (with 250 new questions and answers)
You also need paper and pencils, plus a 5-minute timer (for example a smartphone or a kitchen timer).
Kneipenquiz – das Original
You own Kneipenquiz – das Original or Fußball-Spezial and have already played through all the quiz cards? Then take this supplementary set and play the game according to the rules of the original games.
Variant Without the Original Game (4+ Players)
You do not have Kneipenquiz – das Original or Fußball-Spezial to hand? No problem. You can also play with the supplementary set alone. To do so, place the quiz cards question side up in the middle of the table. Lay out paper and pencils and place the timer on the table.
The more players you are, the better. Form teams of at least 2 to 3 players per team. However, there may be no more than 5 players per team. Each team receives a pencil and a sheet of paper. The teams play against each other and at the same time. The game runs over 5 rounds of 5 minutes each.
Any player of a team draws the top quiz card from the stack. This player is the reader and reads the questions aloud so that everyone can hear them. As the reader, make sure you hold the quiz cards so that nobody can read the answer on the back. Once you have read out the questions, set the timer to 5 minutes and start it.
Note: Each team may take notes or write down the questions while the questions are being read out.
Afterwards, each team answers the questions on its own, question by question. Agree on a single answer within the team and write it on the sheet. Only this answer counts at the end of the round. Be careful that the other teams do not hear or see your discussions and do not hear or see your answers!
Is the time up? Then the reader reads out the answers in order. Each team checks its answers. Each team receives one point for each correct answer. Each missing or wrong answer scores zero points.
Note: Your answers are correct if they correspond in meaning to the answers on the back of the quiz card. Text passages that are in brackets on the quiz card do not need to be included in your answer. Record the points on your sheets. In case of doubt, the reader decides.
Then a new round begins. A new reader draws a new quiz card, reads out the questions and sets the timer again.
End of the Game
Have you played 5 rounds? Then each team adds up its points. The team with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, there are several winning teams.
