When Revised Ambassador copies a Region, does it keep the Region and Merchant icons, and is it still a Region after leaving play?

The copy makes Ambassador the target for the rest of the turn. It takes the target's icons and loses its own Merchant icon, it stays a Region until the end of the turn even after leaving play, and it cannot be played as Ambassador again that turn.
