What is the difference between Add, Move and Remove resources, such as adding materials to Glacier?

Add takes resources from the supply onto the target; Move takes them from your own pool onto the target; Remove, or paying from a card, sends them back to the supply. Substitution is not allowed when moving or removing, but it is allowed when paying from a specific place.
