Can I free play the same card more than once in a turn?
A designer post addresses this directly. It also matches the rulebook text.

No. A card with the Free Play keyword printed on it can be free played only once per turn by any means, and each specific card (by card number) counts separately. A card without the keyword can be free played once through another effect and also played normally for an action any number of times. A free-played card still needs its other costs paid.
