Mini-Expansion Rules
Once you have read to the end of this sheet, place the card with the back side up next to the game board. Place the banishing fire (Bannfeuer) on Iril's space (top left).
After each combat, regardless of its outcome, the banishing fire moves one space clockwise.
If the hero on whose space the banishing fire stands takes part in the combat, he can use a very special magic. That magic is the text before the parentheses in his entry below.
If the hero on whose space the fire stands does not take part in the Legend, any one hero taking part in the combat receives the bonus named in parentheses in that hero's entry below.
Notes: This mini-expansion cannot be used with "The Banishing Circle of Choranat" (Der Bannkreis von Choranat), and it is not suitable for play with five or six heroes.
Hero Bonuses
The sheet prints the four bonuses around the board illustration. They are listed here in the sheet's reading order: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. For each hero, the text before the parentheses is that hero's special magic, which applies when the fire stands on his or her space and the hero takes part in the combat. The text in parentheses is the bonus given to any one hero taking part in the combat when the fire-space hero does not take part in the Legend.
Iril: Iril does not roll dice for this combat. She sets her rune disc to any orientation she likes herself. (A hero receives 3 willpower points.)
Ijsdur: Before this combat Ijsdur receives 2 ice bolts, which he immediately uses according to the usual rules. (A hero receives 1 strength point.)
Aćh: Aćh immediately determines the age of the takuri personally and moves the marker to the corresponding space. (A hero does not have to advance his time stone for this combat.)
Barz: Barz immediately refreshes all magical powders and takes his dice back. He may immediately use any two magical powders, once each, without spending dice. (A hero receives any item from the equipment board, except the Witch's Potion or the star herb.)
