Card Texts

Vive la Résistance! (War Story)

English card, fully legible.

Roll a d6: this is the Sector where you place Target 1 (use a #1 token from the base game). Roll another d6 and subtract its result from the highest-numbered Sector on Map: place Target 2 there (if same as Target 1, re-roll).

Target 1 is a Panzer that must be sabotaged (use Panzer rules from Map N-21, in Atlantikwall). Target 2 is an ammo dump that must be destroyed: in that Sector, discard a number of [explosion icon] equal to the total number of players in the game. When a Target is destroyed, 1 Unit present draws an Award at random. Discard tokens after.

Transcription notes: the printed card reads "must destroyed"; it is transcribed here as "must be destroyed" to match the French card ("doit être détruit"). The [explosion icon] is the orange burst symbol printed on the card with no legible word beside it; it is kept as an icon here.

Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur (FFI) (Legendary Unit)

French card only. Card name, origin and formation are as printed; the unit's rules are not on the card.

  • Name: Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur (FFI)
  • Motto: "Honneur et Patrie" (Honour and Fatherland)
  • Formation: 1944
  • Country: Free France

Gap: the RWB table and unit-marker mechanics for the FFI Legendary Unit are not legible in the photographs and are not transcribed. They are in the Legends rulebook, which was not obtained.

Correspondant de Guerre (War Correspondent)

French card only. Ranking specialist, three stars.

Sacrifice him to swap your Sector with that of another Unit. The faces of Unit Markers do not change.

Both Units may return to Sectors previously visited.

Livre de chiffrement (Codebook)

French card only. Legendary Item, rank 12.

You gain a BBR War Cry from another Legendary Unit's BBR table (not your own). [Icons: a blue, a white and a red BBR face.]

Bouteille de vin (Bottle of Wine)

French card only. Legendary Item, rank 7.

Add a red BBR face and a white BBR face to your final Score. [Icons: one red and one white BBR face.]

Radio clandestine (Clandestine Radio)

French card only. Legendary Item, rank 5.

During this turn, all Units may exchange resources between them, even if they are not in the same Sector.

Maquisard (Specialist)

French card only. Legendary Specialist, four stars.

When rallied, all Units (including yours) gain 6 men.

Résistant (Specialist)

French card only. Legendary Specialist, four stars.

When you get a BBR War Cry, you may choose 2 War Cry options at the same time.

Icon note: a yellow chevron is printed in the card's lower corner; its meaning is not stated on the card and is not transcribed.

Rookie Officer (Officier Novice)

Four regional cards (CA, UK, FR, US). The photographed set is French-language; English text is shown on none of these four cards. The texts below are translated from the French and are partly covered in the photograph, so gaps are marked [covered].

Card CA: You cannot ignore the [skull icon] [covered] ... [covered, appears to end "Compte" (final score)].

Card (second): Add 1 to [covered] of your Sector or of the Bar[...], EXCEPT if [covered] adjacent [covered] Bar[...].

Card (third): You [covered] [covered] for each [covered].

Card US: Add 1 to each die of TdM in your Sector. [target-face icon] = +1.

Gap and term notes: "TdM" is printed on the card and is not expanded anywhere in the photographed text, so it is kept as printed. The [target-face icon] is the red-dot target symbol printed next to the result. The skull and "Bar[...]" terms are not expanded in the photographs. The full texts are in the Legends rulebook, which was not obtained.

Awards

Four Kickstarter-exclusive Awards. The English card texts for three of them are on the English photograph, and the French card for the fourth.

KS Campaign Medal (Médaille Campagne KS)

English card, partly covered by an adjacent card.

Once Phase 2 is over and resources are noted, any 1 Unit, no matter which, is allowed to roll its dice again and [covered] an additional Phase (followed by a Phase [covered]).

Gap: the verb after "roll its dice again and" and the end of the second sentence are covered in the English photograph. The French card reads "Lorsque la Phase 2 est terminée et les ressources sont notées, n'importe quelle Unité, n'importe laquelle, est autorisée à relancer ses dés une fois et [...] une Phase supplémentaire (suivie d'une Phase [...])." The covered words are not guessed here.

Croix du Combattant Volontaire

English card, partly covered by an adjacent card.

Draw 2 Servi[...]. All other Units [...] 1 Servicema[...].

Gap: the English photograph covers the right-hand part of each line. The French card reads "Tirez au hasard 2 Militaires. Les autres Unités tirent [...] 1 Militaire [...]." The covered words are marked, not guessed.

Ordre de Léopold (Ordre de Léopold)

English card, fully legible.

Distribute 16 [man icon] between all Units: each Unit must receive at least 3 and no more than 8. Excess is lost.

The [man icon] is the printed soldier/person symbol; it is rendered here as "men". The card does not spell out the word.

Croix de la Victoire (Croix de la Victoire)

French card only.

Any Unit gains 4 men for each [chevron icon] on its Unit Marker.

Icon note: the [chevron icon] is the yellow chevron printed on the card; the card does not spell out its meaning in words, so it is kept as an icon.
