Preparation
Place the tile with the "Tierpark Hagenbeck" face-up in the middle of the table.
Playing the game
All rules of the original game apply with the following changes: The first player, who fills his 6-space enclosure, takes the tile with the "Tierpark Hagenbeck" as a bonus*. He takes it from the middle of the table, placing it below his zoo board, near his barn. The "Tierpark Hagenbeck" remains with this player until the end of the game.
Once per game, when the player adds tiles to his zoo, he may put 2 coins at the "Tierpark Hagenbeck" to place an animal tile of a second type in one of his enclosures. From now on, animal tiles of both types may be placed in this enclosure.
Please note that leopards may never be in an enclosure with another animal type!
Scoring
The coins on the "Tierpark Hagenbeck" are not considered during scoring.
* If Tierpark Hagenbeck is played with Katta, Gorilla, and/or other similar expansions, the first player may choose which enclosure to take the tile from. Other players choose from the remaining enclosures when filling their own 6-space enclosure.
