Rules Overview

  • Normal — For 3~8 players.
  • Challenge — For 3~8 players.
  • Normal / Challenge — For 2 players.

Normal (For 3~8 players)

Setup

  1. All players sit in a circle facing each other.
  2. Prepare sticks according to the number of players, placing them in easy reach of all players. Return any remaining sticks to the box.
    • 3 players: x10
    • 4 players: x12
    • 5 players: x14
    • 6~8 players: x16
  3. Each player chooses a player card. The color depicted on the card becomes their player color.
  4. Shuffle all hand cards of the player's colors and place them in a face-down deck in the center of the play area.
  5. Return all unused hand cards to the box.
  6. Each player chooses one hand to use for the game. The other hand will be used to draw cards.

Note: Only one hand can be used, and cannot be changed during the game.

How to Play

Decide on the first player. Players take turns in clockwise order starting from the first player.

  1. Reveal the top card of the hand deck with your free hand. Use an available stick to connect your finger with another player's finger based on the revealed card.

If the color of the revealed card is not the active player's color: The matching player color player is nominated.

    • Nominated player: Connects the stick using the finger indicated on the revealed card.
    • Active player: Connects the stick using any finger of their choice.

If the color of the revealed card is identical to the active player's color: The active player nominates a player of their choice.

    • Nominated player: Connects the stick using any finger of their choice.
    • Active player: Connects the stick using the finger indicated on the revealed card.

Note: One finger can support multiple sticks!

  2. The player to the left becomes the next active player.

The game ends when either of the following conditions are met:

  • Any stick is dropped. Try again!
  • All the sticks are connected. Congratulations!

Game Variations

For an easier game, try this — use fewer sticks:

  • 3 players: x8
  • 4 players: x10
  • 5 players: x12
  • 6~8 players: x14

For a harder game, try this:

No player can rest their elbows on the table during the game!

Challenge (For 3~8 players)

Connect the sticks strategically so they can support the balls and aim for the perfect clear!

Setup

The following changes are made to the normal setup:

  • Don't return any sticks to the game box.
  • Place the 6 balls within all players' reach.

How to Play

Decide on the first player. Players take turns in clockwise order starting from the first player.

On their turn, each player either "Connects a stick" or "Places a ball".

Connecting a stick — This action is identical to the normal rules of the game.

Note: If either the deck of hand cards or the stick supply runs out, players can only take the "Placing a ball" action.

Placing a ball — Take a ball from the supply and place it on top of a pair of sticks. The player to the left becomes the next active player.

Notes on placing the ball:

  • The placed ball cannot touch any player's fingers or another ball.
  • Each pair of sticks can only support one ball.

When a ball or stick is dropped: Return them to the supply. They can be used again as normal.

The game ends when either of the following conditions are met:

  • A second stick is dropped onto the table. Try again!
  • 6 balls have been placed atop the sticks. Congratulations!

Number of balls at time of game over:

  • 1~2 balls: Try again!
  • 3~5 balls: Congratulations!
  • 6 balls: Perfect!!

Normal (For 2 players)

Setup

  1. Players sit facing each other.
  2. Take 8 sticks out of the box and place them within easy reach of both players.
  3. Choose 4 hand card colors to use for the game. Each player receives a deck of 2 hand colors.
  4. Players shuffle their hand card deck and place it in front of themselves.
  5. Much like in the 3-8 player rules, every player should only use one hand to balance the sticks throughout the game.

How to Play

Players take each turn simultaneously, performing the following:

  1. Reveal the top card of your deck.
  2. Connect the stick using the indicated finger. Ignore the hand card color.
  3. Repeat this process until an end of game condition is triggered.

The game ends when either of the following conditions are met:

  • Either player lets go of a stick. Try again!
  • You have connected all 8 sticks. Congratulations!

Challenge (For 2 players)

Setup

The following changes are made to the normal 2 player setup:

  • Each player receives 3 sets of color cards (15 cards total).
  • Don't return any sticks to the game box.
  • Place 3 balls within easy reach of both players.

How to Play

Players take their turn simultaneously. On their turn, each player either "Connects a stick" or "Places a ball".

Connecting a stick — Same as normal 2 player rules.

Place a ball — Same as normal 3~8 player rules.

The game ends when either of the following conditions are met:

  • A second stick is dropped onto the table. Try again!
  • 3 balls have been placed atop the sticks. Congratulations!
