Does the Tram let my President move to an area where I have no assistant?
Several players agree, citing the TMG answer; the card text itself does not mention assistants.

No. The Tram only skips the step-by-step path; the destination must still be a legal one, with at least one of your assistants and no opposing President. One 2025 poster reads the card as allowing an empty area, but earlier replies say otherwise. You may use it every turn, but not move again afterward.
