The Dice Tower (Wonder Card)

Printed on the card: the title "THE DICE TOWER" and a blue Dice Tower piece with a red flag (the promo's 1x1 wonder piece, shown in the card art and as a wooden token).

Icons on the card, from top to bottom:

  1. A blue Dice Tower piece, an equals sign, and one gold ring with purple gems.
  2. A blue Dice Tower piece, an equals sign, and a white Tower piece.
  3. A green square.
  4. A row of three vertical bars, a Natural Resource icon (green bushes and white rocks), three vertical bars, and a road tile icon (a white rectangular tile).

The card carries no written rules text.

The BGG item description for this promo adds, in prose: "The bonus for completing this wonder is that it acts as a Tower." It also says the Dice Tower "must be placed adjacent to Natural resources and a road." Those sentences come from the BGG listing, not from the card.

The Dice Tower (Mundo Card)

    • a row showing a diamond glyph followed by one gold ring.

The card carries no written rules text.

The BGG item description for this promo says: "The Mundo card gives extra points for having the Dice Tower adjacent to multiple road pieces." That sentence comes from the BGG listing, not from the card.

Icon Key

Only icons defined by the World Wonders rulebook are explained here. Anything else is listed as printed.

  • Gold ring (Victory Point ring): The World Wonders rulebook scores Monuments as "1 Victory Point for each Ring on their Monument Cards" (see END OF GAME and SCORING, item 3). Rings on this promo's cards are read as Victory Point rings on that basis.
  • Monument card parts: A Monument card has three parts: the Resources, Population and/or Victory Points gained; the spaces and type(s) of terrain it is placed on; and the adjacencies required (see MONUMENTS). The top of each promo card shows the gains (part 1), the centre green square shows the terrain (part 2), and the bottom row shows the adjacencies (part 3).
  • Tower: "A Tower must always be adjacent to something the player has already placed on their map, and must always be placed on top of a land space" (see PLACING PIECES ON THE MAP, World Wonders rulebook). The equals sign and Tower icon on these cards are printed as the Dice Tower equalling a Tower; the card gives no further wording.
  • Road tile: "A Road Tile must always be adjacent to another Road Tile, the Sidewalk running along the base of the map, or a Tower" (see PLACING PIECES ON THE MAP).
  • Natural Resource: "Natural Resources are treated as land spaces and items can be placed on top of them" (see PLACING PIECES ON THE MAP). Natural Resources also score "1 Victory Point for every visible Natural Resource that is adjacent to at least one piece placed on their map" (see END OF GAME and SCORING, item 4).
  • Green square: The rulebook names "green spaces" only as a scoring term (City Districts, END OF GAME and SCORING, item 5). The green square is printed as a green space; the rulebook gives no further definition.
  • Vertical bars: Printed as three short vertical bars before each adjacency icon. The World Wonders rulebook does not define this mark; it is transcribed as printed.
  • Equals sign: Printed between the Dice Tower piece and the icon it equals. The World Wonders rulebook does not define this mark; it is transcribed as printed.
  • Diamond glyph: Printed beside one ring on the Mundo card. The World Wonders rulebook does not define this mark, and its meaning is not stated on the card; it is transcribed as printed.
