Rules of Play

This 15-card mini expansion includes a rare epic Armor Set for each of the 9 classes, 2 "Epic Armor" Item cards, 1 "Murloc Suit" Item card, and rules for how to use these cards in World of Warcraft: The Board Game.

Armor Sets

Armor Set cards look like normal Items cards with a few minor differences. The backs of Armor Set cards are marked with a class icon. A player may never control an Armor Set that does not match his class icon.

Armor Sets also have the keyword Set on them. Set cards are treated as normal items except that while equipped, add-on items may not be equipped in the same slot.

Setup

At the start of the game, shuffle the two "Epic Armor" Item cards and the "Murloc Suit" Item card into their corresponding Item decks. Each player then places the Armor Set card that matches his class into his Class deck.

Acquiring Armor Sets

Although Armor Set cards are placed in a player's Class deck at the start of the game, they cannot be used until a player has acquired an "Epic Armor" card.

Epic Armor Cards

While adventuring throughout the world of Lordaeron, players may be lucky enough to receive an "Epic Armor" card from the circle Item deck. These cards are acquired following the same rules as normal Item cards.

Once a player has acquired an "Epic Armor" Item card, he must immediately choose an Armor Set card from his Class deck (if able) and place it into his bag. The "Epic Armor" card is then returned to the game box.
