Helper Card HP2/2
The card is a helper and is played like any other helper under the base rules (see the base Woodcraft rulebook, "Choose a Helper"). Its printed icons are read as follows.
Top left: blueberry cost 5. A blueberry token showing 5. This is the blueberry cost paid to play the helper. The base rulebook states that a helper's cost is shown in its upper left corner and is paid in blueberries.
Top right: hazelnut 2 with a gear icon. A hazelnut token showing 2, next to a gear icon. Interpretation (unconfirmed): the base rulebook says a helper's production is shown "on the top of the card, beside the production icon." The gear beside the 2 is read as that production icon. The hazelnut token is not explained in the base rulebook, and it is not confirmed whether the hazelnut is part of the production value or a separate element. The upper right corner of a helper's placement space carries a hazelnut or blueberry income-track icon, but that placement icon is on the board, not on the card. Flag: the hazelnut token on the top right is not mapped to a rule in the base rulebook.
Bottom left: gear 2. A gear icon showing 2. Interpretation: read as the helper production icon with value 2, meaning this helper gives production from 2 helpers. The BGG item description says the card "gives you in each income phase 2 production of helpers." The base rulebook does not name the gear icon and does not state where the income-phase production value is printed, so this mapping rests on the BGG description.
