Icon Key

Readings marked interpretation are not keyed in the base rulebook text and are the transcriber's reading of the card art.

  • Blueberry and hazelnut: the two currencies named in the base rulebook. Keyed.
  • Upper left cost on a helper: the blueberry cost paid to play the helper (base: Choose a Helper). Keyed.
  • Gear beside a number in the upper right of a helper: the base rulebook says a helper's production is shown beside the production icon. The gear is read as that production icon. Interpretation. The number printed beside it is transcribed as printed.
  • ∞ symbol on the left edge: the base rulebook marks permanent abilities as triggering every time an action of the depicted type is taken, and its icon list gives the "every time a certain condition is met" icon. The ∞ is read as that icon. Interpretation.
  • Check-mark icon (HI/P): not keyed in the base rulebook. Read as completing an order. Interpretation. The ability is transcribed as printed.
  • "?" tab (HII/P): not keyed in the base rulebook. Its meaning is not confirmed. The ability is transcribed as printed.
  • Dice colours: the base rulebook names green, yellow and black dice. The yellow dice on the order cards are read as yellow dice. The dark maroon die on Messina 1347 is read as a black die. Interpretation.
  • Saw blade: read as the saw token named in the base rulebook. Interpretation of the picture only.
  • Gold disc and brown cube: read as the glue token and scrapwood token named in the base rulebook. Interpretation of the picture only. The base icon list does not show these pictures.
  • Wooden hammer-shaped tile: read as a tool token, since base tools are kept in the attic. Interpretation.
  • Red leaf-cluster icon (Underwater Cities): not keyed in the base rulebook. Transcribed as printed.
  • Roman numerals and card codes: printed in the corners, transcribed as printed. They carry no rules.
