Does a wild food symbol count for powers that look for a specific food, like Little Penguin's fish?

Question

Accepted Answer

No. A power that names a specific food counts only that food's icon on cost lines, and a wild symbol does not qualify; the same applies to Green Bee-eater (invertebrate) and food-cost goals. Little Penguin caches one fish per fish icon on each drawn bird.
