Does the Verditer Flycatcher count an invertebrate I gain after I activate it?
A Stonemaier staff reply ruled that the appendix is incorrect and the card text governs.

No. It only counts an invertebrate you gained from the birdfeeder earlier in the turn, before it activates, matching the Grandala's egg wording. The printed appendix entry for the Flycatcher says invertebrates gained before or after count, but the publisher ruled in 2022 that the appendix is wrong and the card plays as written. Invertebrates cached on another bird (such as the Willow Tit) never enter your supply, so they do not count.
