Can both players put Duet tokens on the reset space, and how many can it hold?
The publisher said this directly, and the rulebook describes the reset space as the alternative placement.

Yes. The reset space on the lower left holds any number of tokens of either colour. The one-token-per-space limit applies only to the spaces on the map itself. Placing a token there is the fallback when you cannot or do not want to take a matching space.
