Do I lose an action cube each round in Duet mode?
The rulebook lists the turn counts per round and the cube used for the goal.

Yes. Marking the end-of-round goal uses one of your cubes, so you have one fewer each round (8, 7, 6, 5 turns). The one exception is Oceania's No Goal tile, which leaves you the extra cube.
