Table of Contents

  • Setup
  • Postcards Against Suffrage (Opposition)
  • Board Games for Suffrage (Suffragist)

Setup

  • Each side receives one promo card: the Suffragist side receives Board Games for Suffrage and the Opposition side receives Postcards Against Suffrage. The side is shown by the badge on each card (the Votes for Women badge for Suffragist, the NO badge for Opposition).
  • Tuck each promo card into that side's Late cards.

Judgment call: the BGG description says only "tuck them into the Late deck for each side." The printed cards do not say whether the promo card goes in before or after the Late cards are shuffled, so the order is left to the base setup text.

Postcards Against Suffrage (Opposition)

Promo. The cube icon on this card is the Red cube.

Add 1 cube in each of California, Arizona, Montana, Kansas, Maryland and Virginia.

Printed flavour text (not a rule): The postcard industry cranked out many popular images depicting suffragists as domineering and men suffering under their abusive wrath.

Board Games for Suffrage (Suffragist)

Promo. The cube icon on this card is the Purple or Yellow cube, as in the base game's cube icon.

Place 1 cube in each of California, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Maryland.

Printed flavour text (not a rule): Never underestimate the power of play! Suffragists here and abroad used games and toys to reach new audiences and make the fight a little more fun.
