Lightning Bolt

Lightning Bolt is placed on top of another tile.

Lightning Bolt scores points for the short line running from it in a horizontal or vertical direction, even if Lightning Bolt itself is not the strongest tile in the line.

In certain cases, when Lightning Bolt is placed on a single starting tile, or on a single tile next to a Hel tile, Lightning Bolt scores 1 point.

• You cannot place Lightning Bolt on top of another Lightning Bolt, on a Hel tile, or on a tile next to a Troll.
• You can place Lightning Bolt on top of a Raven or a Dragon.
• If both lines have the same length, you must specify the line you are scoring. This matters when the line contains Nidhogg (+2 points).
• If you place Lightning Bolt on top of Nidhogg, you score 2 additional points.
• Lightning Bolt scores points even if it is placed on a tile in a line that is bookended by two Valkyries.

Example (from the sheet): Lightning Bolt scores 2 points, because the short line consists of 2 tiles (left - 2, up - 2, right - 3 tiles).
