Overview
The Crossover Promo Pack contains three kinds of component:
- 4 Outsiders: purple cards, one per item below.
- 4 Hero Townsfolk: brown cards, one per item below.
- 4 Chest Tiles: wooden-chest tiles, one per item below.
The pack is sold separately and is also included in the Viscounts Collector's Box. The pack's items are printed with abilities that depend on components from both expansions, so they are used only when those expansions are in play.
Outsiders
Each Outsider card shows a number in a grey circle at top left, a column of resource or icon symbols below it, a purple tab with a right-pointing triangle at top right, a title bar with the card name, and a cost-and-scoring line at the bottom.
Shieldmaiden
- Top-left number: 2.
- Left column, below the number: a hammer icon and a blue sack icon.
- Right column: a white plus icon on a dark square, and a padlock icon.
- Bottom line: three padlock icons, followed by "=" and a yellow banner printed with 4.
Advocate
- Top-left number: 3.
- Left column: a fleur-de-lis icon and a blue sack icon.
- Right column: a white plus icon on a dark square, and a padlock icon.
- Bottom line: a yellow banner, a "+" sign, a second yellow banner, then "PER", then a card-back icon showing a figure, followed by a purple card-shaped icon.
Adventurer
- Top-left number: 2.
- Left column: three blue sack icons, stacked.
- Right column: two grey circular arrow icons pointing right, and a green card icon showing a figure with a hand.
- Bottom line: a yellow banner, then "PER", then a hammer icon, a fleur-de-lis icon, and a cross icon.
Vigilante
- Top-left number: 1.
- Left column: a cross icon and a blue sack icon.
- Right column: two grey circular arrow icons pointing right, and a green card icon showing a figure with a hand.
- Bottom line: a yellow banner, then "PER", then a green card icon showing a figure.
Hero Townsfolk
Each Hero Townsfolk card shows a number in a bronze circle at top left, a column of icons below it, a portrait with the character name in a title bar, and a line of icons at the bottom. The brown card back and title bar identify the card type.
Mayya
- Top-left number: 2.
- Left column: a fleur-de-lis icon, a cross icon, and a figure icon.
- Bottom line: a card with a plus icon, a plus icon on a stack of cards, and a green card showing a figure with a hand.
- Right-hand title bar: a small cross-marked icon.
Folke
- Top-left number: 1.
- Left column: two blue sack icons.
- Bottom line: a plus icon on a stack of cards, then "/" (a slash), then a plus icon on a dark card, then a green card showing a figure with a hand.
- Right-hand title bar: a lightning-bolt icon.
Helena
- Top-left number: 3.
- Left column: a cross icon.
- Bottom line: a plus icon on a card, then "/" (a slash), then a green card showing a figure with a hand, then an arrow pointing right, then a grey disc with an arrow pointing left.
- Right-hand title bar: a small cycle-arrow icon.
Ivon
- Top-left number: 2.
- Left column: two hammer icons.
- Bottom line: a green card with a cross icon (with an up-arrow), a stack of cards with a plus icon, and a padlock icon.
- Right-hand title bar: a cross-marked icon.
Chest Tiles
Each Chest Tile is a wooden chest. The front shows, from left to right: a small hexagonal icon at the left edge, a green-framed card slot with an up-arrow, an arrow pointing right, and a reward. A yellow banner at top right shows "?" and the track "2/5/9". The four tiles differ only in the left icon, the card slot, and the reward.
Chest Tile A
- Left icon: a hexagon with a cycle-arrow symbol.
- Card slot: a brown card (Hero Townsfolk card type).
- Reward: two blue sack icons.
- Banner: "?", track "2/5/9".
Chest Tile B
- Left icon: a hexagon with a cycle-arrow symbol.
- Card slot: a brown card (Hero Townsfolk card type).
- Reward: a hammer icon, a fleur-de-lis icon, and a cross icon.

Chest Tile C
- Left icon: a hexagon with a lightning-bolt symbol.
- Card slot: a purple card (Outsider card type).
- Reward: two grey discs, the second with a left-pointing arrow.
- Banner: "?", track "2/5/9".
Chest Tile D
- Left icon: a lightning-bolt symbol.
- Card slot: a purple card (Outsider card type).
- Reward: a yellow cube (block) icon.
- Banner: "?", track "2/5/9".
Transcription Notes
- Source limits. The only source is a single low-resolution photograph of the physical set. Each card and tile was read from the photo, not from a scan of the card faces.
- Icons not named. The photo does not identify the resource or effect behind each icon by name, so icons are described by shape and colour (for example "blue sack", "fleur-de-lis", "padlock", "yellow banner"). The base game's icon key governs their meaning. Where a card or tile's exact effect cannot be confirmed from the photo, that effect is not stated here.
- Chest track. The "2/5/9" track on each chest is transcribed as printed. The photo does not show what each threshold does.
- Scoring and "PER" lines. The "PER" lines on the Outsiders are transcribed as printed. Their exact counting rules are not stated in the source and must be taken from the card faces.
- Lowest-confidence readings. The Mayya left-column symbols, the title-bar glyphs on the Townsfolk and Outsiders (the small pennant and cross-marked shapes), and the cycle-arrow and lightning-bolt hexagons on the chests are the least legible in the photo. Treat those descriptions as provisional until checked against the physical cards.
- Expansion requirements. Every item in this pack requires Gates of Gold and Keeper of Keys (see Overview). This text does not restate either expansion's rules, which are to be read from those expansions' own rulebooks.
