Monster Cards

Each card lists its Area icon, its Type icon, its cost to slay, its Victory Points, and its reward. The cost to slay is the Strength value in the red shield and the Magic value in the blue icon. Victory Points are shown in the purple icon. The reward strip sits along the bottom of the card.

Hell Wasp

  • Area: Fire Temple
  • Type: Beast
  • Cost to slay: 2 Strength, 7 Magic
  • Victory Points: 3
  • Reward: Gain 3 Gold or 3 Magic.

The mirror lists three Hell Wasp cards in this pack (ids 183, 184 and 185). See the Gaps and Notes section on the 5-player tag on card 185.

Gagambah

  • Area: Fire Temple
  • Type: Beast
  • Cost to slay: 9 Strength, 5 Magic
  • Victory Points: 4
  • Reward: Gain 3 Gold and 3 Magic.

The mirror lists two Gagambah cards in this pack (ids 186 and 187).

Sigbin

  • Area: Fire Temple
  • Type: Warden (see Gaps and Notes)
  • Cost to slay: 4 Strength, 10 Magic
  • Victory Points: 5
  • Reward: Gain 4 Gold or 2 Victory Points.

Lava Elemental

  • Area: Fire Temple
  • Type: Boss
  • Cost to slay: 11 Strength, 11 Magic
  • Victory Points: 6
  • Reward: Gain 2 Victory Points for each Fire Temple Monster you own.

The reward strip shows 2 Victory Points for each Fire Temple Area icon. The card's text is written in words here, as the wiki gives it.

Gaps and Notes

  • No full rulebook. This file covers only the seven monster cards in the pack. No setup, turn or rules insert was found. Terms on the cards (Strength, Magic, Victory Points, slay, Gold, Area, Type, Monster, Boss, Beast) are base-game terms defined in the Valeria: Card Kingdoms rulebook.
  • Icon reading. The red shield is the Strength cost, the blue icon is the Magic cost, and the purple icon is Victory Points. The wiki's stat values match the numbers printed beside these icons on all seven scans.
  • Reward separator. On Hell Wasp and Sigbin, a vertical bar sits between a Gold reward and a second reward. It is written here as "or", which matches the wiki's "choose" wording for these cards. On Gagambah, a plus sign sits between Gold and Magic, written here as "and".
  • Area icon. The tower icon in the top right is the Area icon for the Fire Temple. The base rulebook lists eight Monster Areas (Hills, Ruins, Forest, Swamp, Mountains, Caverns, Barrens and Valley), and Fire Temple is not one of them. The base rulebook's rule that a Monster's Area icon sets its stack applies here.
  • Type icons. The paw on Hell Wasp and Gagambah is written as Beast, which is one of the four base-game Monster Types. The bald-headed figure on Sigbin is written as Warden, the wiki's label. The base rulebook names only Boss, Minion, Beast and Titan, so "Warden" is not confirmed by a printed rule. The hooded figure on Lava Elemental is written as Boss, which matches the base-game type name.
  • Lava Elemental reward. The card shows 2 Victory Points for each Area icon. The wiki gives the text as "for each Fire Temple Monster you own". The base rulebook counts slain Monsters for Area-icon rewards, so the wording "you own" is the wiki's and is not confirmed against a printed card.
  • Copies. The scans of cards 183, 184 and 185 are identical, and so are those of 186 and 187. The mirror may reuse one image per name, so identical scans do not prove separate printed copies. The copy counts above come from the mirror's card ids.
  • 5-player tag. The mirror tags card 185 "5p extra". No 5-player marker is visible on the scan, so this tag is not confirmed. The base rulebook's Setup note says that 5-player Monsters are added to the stacks only for 5-player games.
  • Not transcribed. The mirror also gives an "Order" number (1 to 7) for each card. It is not printed on the scans and is left out. The stack layout for the pack is not printed on the cards, so it is not given here.
  • Source quality. The card scans are 400 by 571 pixel images from a fan mirror. Stats and icons were read from the scans and checked against the mirror's text. Nothing that could not be read on the scans has been filled in.
