Undead Samurai Rules
The Undead Samurai cards can be used as an Event during the game or as a Monster stack you can add to the Monster row. The instructions below describe the rules changes for both. All other standard rules apply.
Playing as Event
Shuffle the Undead Samurai Lord with the Exhausted card back in with the Event cards. Place the Undead Samurai Monster cards face down next to the Exhausted card stack.
During the game, when the Undead Samurai Lord is revealed, place it in the empty slot as usual, then starting with the Active player, and in turn order, each player places 1 Undead Samurai on a non-Exhausted stack of their choice.
When the Undead Samurai Lord is slain, return any Undead Samurai still in the center stacks to the box. Replace the empty stack with 1 of the Exhausted cards from the bottom, not the top, of the Exhausted stack.
Playing as Monster Stack
Take the Undead Samurai Lord card with the Monster card back and the Undead Samurai Monster cards and set them up as described in the standard rules.
Gaps and Notes
- This rulebook is transcribed from a single photographed card. The photo is low resolution, so the wording was read from the image; no word was guessed where the print was legible, and the text is reproduced as printed on the card.
- The rules card refers to "the standard rules", "the Exhausted card stack", "the empty slot", "the Active player" and "non-Exhausted stack" without restating them. These are base-game terms and procedures from the Valeria: Card Kingdoms rulebook, which is not reproduced in this file.
- The expansion's card text (the Undead Samurai Lord, the Undead Samurai Monster cards and any Event cards) is not transcribed here. Only the rules card's instructions are included.
