Each card bears a unique number on the back (out of 30) so that you can check your deck is complete prior to starting the game.
Game Overview
This cooperative card game brings the excitement of escape rooms to your living room. The Unlock! Short Adventures series offers shorter adventures than the Unlock! 3-scenario boxes.
These cards provide the basics of the UNLOCK! game. Detailed rules are available at spacecowboys.fr/unlock-short-adventures-en. You can also refer to the step-by-step Tutorial in the dedicated UNLOCK! app.
The App
To begin, download the free UNLOCK! app on your smartphone or tablet (available on the App Store and Google Play).
Nothing Is Easier Than Playing UNLOCK!
Play UNLOCK! as a team or alone. First, sit at a table, then place the deck facedown on the table, or divide the deck among several players without revealing or spreading out the cards.
Once ready, launch the app, click on the "SHORT ADVENTURES" section, then select the adventure you want to play.
Game Rules
Each time you see a number (or a letter) on a card, look for the matching card in the deck. Then, flip it over and read the text.
IMPORTANT: some numbers may be hidden.
Card Types
Gray cards
These cards provide places/locations, information, and sometimes numbers that allow you to reveal new cards.
Card 46 is a gray card.
Red or Blue cards
A blue card can be combined with either a red card or a +? red modifier. A red card can be combined with either a blue card or a +? blue modifier. To do so, add the card numbers in question together, or add the modifier to the card number.
Object 35 (blue) and object 11 (red). If the result matches a card from your deck (11 + 35 = 46), you can reveal it.
Green cards (machines)
In the app, press the machine button, then enter the green card number. Your screen will then display the machine you will interact with. While doing so, keep in mind that UNLOCK! is, above all, a puzzle game!

Discarding Cards
The top of some cards depict crossed-out numbers and/or letters. You should immediately discard the corresponding cards as they will not be used again during the game.
The UNLOCK! App
The app is your "assistant". It is essential in managing your time (timer), accessing machines, and providing hints. If you are stuck in the adventure, press the hint button, then enter the card number for which you need one or more hints. The app can also provide you with the solution if you cannot solve a puzzle. You can also find the detailed solutions at spacecowboys.fr/unlock-short-adventures-en.

Work together to solve the puzzles of the adventure that awaits you. Communicating and sharing your ideas are the keys to your success!
Read aloud the Introduction card of the adventure you are about to play and follow the instructions carefully!

This product has been manufactured with all possible care. However, before you start playing, make sure that your deck is complete (thirty cards). To do so, check the card numbers at the bottom of each card back (XX/30). Should the deck be incomplete, please contact Space Cowboys at [email protected], and they will send you the missing cards in a timely fashion.
