Do rivers, streams or bridges change movement or combat?
The publisher and designer both confirmed there are no other terrain effects.

No — the only terrain effect in the game is the variable cover value of hills. Rivers and streams cost nothing extra and do not block movement, and bridges are artwork, so a unit may cross a river anywhere.
