- 4 Action Markers
- 1 Start Player Marker
- 4 Player Aid Cards
- 4 Scoring Cards

Game Setup
- Shuffle the Scenery Cards and place them facedown (showing the wheel), forming the Scenery Deck. Reveal the top 5 cards from the deck, and arrange them into 5 rows of 1 card each, forming the Central Area.
- Shuffle the Opportunity Cards and place them facedown (showing the "wheel X5"), forming the Opportunity Deck. Place the Bike Markers to the side.
- Each player chooses a colour and takes the corresponding Action Marker, 3 Storage Cards (1 card of each type), 1 Scoring Card, 1 Scoring Cube, and 1 Player Aid. Place the Action Marker face up (showing the hand symbol).
- Each player draws a card from the Scenery Deck until they draw a non-bike card and places that card face up in front of them, beginning their Journey. Return any Bike Cards back to the bottom of the Scenery Deck.
- The player who has most recently ridden a bike takes the Start Player Marker and begins the game.
Game Play
Starting with the first player and going clockwise, each player must take 1 of the 2 actions:
A. Search
- Reveal 2 cards from the Scenery Deck one by one.
- Place the 2 Scenery Cards in the Central Area according to their Card Numbers.
- End of the turn.
B. Schedule
- Take one entire row of cards into your hand, and add 0 ~ 1 card to your Journey.
- Flip your Action Marker to the "PASS" side. You may not take any more actions in this round.
- End of the turn.
Keep taking turns until all players' Action Markers are showing the "PASS" side, the round is over. Everyone checks if they have played 9 Scenery Cards in front of them (including the one they received during setup). If anyone has 9 cards at the end of the round, the game ends. Otherwise, flip all the Action Markers face up and a new round begins.
Actions
A. Search
- Reveal 2 cards one by one from the Scenery Deck. If the deck is empty when you need to draw a card, shuffle all the cards in the discard pile to form a new deck.
- For each Scenery Card revealed, check its Card Number against those of the rightmost card in each row of the Central Area. Then place it to the right of the card with a smaller number that is closest to the revealed card. There is no limit to the number of cards in each row.
- If the revealed card's number is smaller than all the cards on the rightmost spots of each row, immediately flip that card over to the wheel side, and pass it to the player on your left, who will place it on their Scenery Storage Card.
- The turn then passes to the player on your left. You may NOT perform both the Search and Schedule actions in the same turn.
Example: The rightmost cards in the Central Area are 1, 24, 41, 47, and 56. 24 is the closest to 29 among those that are smaller than 29, so the new card is placed to the right of 24.
B. Schedule
- Choose one row from the Central Area and take all the cards into your hand, and do the following:
- Place all the Bike Cards (if any) on your Bike Storage Card.
- Choose 0 ~ 1 Scenery Card from your hand and add it to the right of your Journey. There are 3 options:
- I. Play a Scenery Card without using bikes.
- II. Play a Scenery Card using bikes.
- III. Choose not to play a Scenery Card.
- After you have made your choice, place all the remaining Scenery Cards from your hand facedown on your Scenery Storage Card.
- Flip your Action Marker to the "PASS" side, and the next player may now begin their turn.
Tip 1: The later you choose to Schedule, the fewer rows will be available for you.
Tip 2: The rows that were chosen will not be replenished until the next round.
I. Play a Scenery Card without using bikes.
A Scenery Card may be played after another one without using bikes if the difference between their Distance Values is 1 or less.
Example: Anna takes a row of cards and the last card in her Journey has a Distance Value of 6. The next card she may play without using bikes could be:
- Equal: a card with a Distance Value of 6.
- +1: a card with a Distance Value of 7.
- -1: a card with a Distance Value of 5.
II. Play a Scenery Card using bikes.
If the difference between the Distance Values of the 2 cards is 2 or more, you must play Bike Cards with an equal or higher number of bikes to make up the distance.
Example: Anna takes a row of cards and the last card in her Journey has a Distance Value of 6. In order to play a card with a value of 3, she must play 1 Bike Card with 3 bikes, or 3 Bike Cards with 1 bike each. Then she should place exactly one Bike Marker from the supply between the 2 Scenery Cards.
- Place all the played Bike Cards in a discard pile near the Scenery Deck.
- Players may "overpay" the difference (e.g., use a Bike Card with 3 bikes to pay for a difference of 2), but they won't get the "changes" back.
III. Choose not to play a Scenery Card.
Immediately place all the Scenery Cards in your hand facedown on your Scenery Storage Card. These cards can help you gain Opportunity Cards.
Example: Anna takes a row of cards and the last card in her Journey has a Distance Value of 6. She may decline to play a card because: (1) she doesn't have enough Bike Cards to pay for the distance; or (2) she wants to gain an Opportunity Card faster.
- Each player may have at most 9 Scenery Cards in their Journey. Once played, their order may not be changed.
- After your Action Marker is flipped to the "PASS" side, you may no longer take any action in this round.
Storage Cards
There are 3 types of Storage Cards that are used to store Scenery, Bike, and Opportunity Cards:
- Scenery Storage: Whenever a player has 5 cards on their Scenery Storage Card, immediately exchange them for an Opportunity Card, which will be placed facedown on the Opportunity Storage Card. Keep them hidden from the other players, but you may look at them at any time. Opportunity Cards will help you during the game or provide extra points at the end (see Opportunity Cards below).
- Bike Storage: Bike Cards played during Schedule are placed here.
- Opportunity Storage: Holds your Opportunity Cards.
End of Round
If all but one player have passed, the last player may take one more Search action before they Schedule. Afterwards, the last player must Schedule, choose an additional row, and discard all the cards from that row. Then, draw 1 card to replenish each empty row in the Central Area.
Example (3-player game): Anna is the last player to pass. There are still 3 rows left in the Central Area. She chooses to Search one more time before Schedule. Afterwards, she chooses another row and discards the cards. 4 new Scenery Cards are drawn to replenish the empty rows.
Everyone then flips their Action Marker to the front side, and a new round begins. The Start Player Marker is passed to the player on the left to begin a new round.
End of Game
At the end of a round, if at least one player has 9 Scenery Cards in their Journey (including the one from setup), the game ends.
Each player scores the 4 categories, and may earn extra points for their Opportunity Cards. Use the Scoring Cube and Scoring Card to keep track of scores. The player with the highest score wins!
In case of a tie, the player with the most bikes from their remaining Bike Cards and Opportunity Cards wins!
Scoring Categories
- Planning Expert: Add up the difference in the Distance Values of each pair of adjacent cards in the Journey. The player who has travelled the longest distance scores 4 points, and the second longest scores 2 points. In case of a tie, all players score the corresponding points. The 2 points for the second longest are still awarded even if multiple people are tied for the longest.
- Extreme Traveler: Score 1 point for each card with a Distance Value of 1, 2, 14, or 15.
- Memorable Trips: Score points for having multiple copies of cards with the same Distance Value (they do not need to be connected). 2 copies: 1 point. 3 copies: 3 points. 4 copies: 5 points.
- Travel Master: Score 2 points for having 9 cards in the Journey.
Example: In Anna's 9-card Journey the differences of the adjacent pairs are +2, +4, +1, +2, +0, +4, +2, +1, totalling 16. Scoring: Planning Expert +4 (the longest distance); Extreme Traveler +3 (cards 1, 14, and 15); Memorable Trips +1 (2 copies of 8); Travel Master +2 (9 cards).
Opportunity Cards
| Card | Copies | Effect | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bike card | x 6 | Treat this card as a Bike Card with 2 bikes. Discard it to the Opportunity Card discard pile after use. | B. Schedule |
| +1 Scenery card | x 4 | Play one additional Scenery Card to your Journey, following all the normal rules for Schedule. Discard it to the Opportunity Card discard pile after use. | B. Schedule |
| Bike Markers | x 5 | For each copy of this card, score 2 points if you have 3 or more Bike Markers. | End of Game |
| 1 point | x 5 | Score 1 point. | End of Game |
| Scenery type set | x 5 | For each copy of this card, score 2 points for each type of Scenery Card with 3 or more copies in your Journey. | End of Game |
Example: Anna has 5 Opportunity Cards at the end of the game: 2 Bike Markers cards (5 Bike Markers = 2 points x 2 copies = 4 points), 1 point card, and 2 Scenery type cards (3 of a type = 2 points x 2 copies = 4 points).
