- 1 game board
- 28 circular wooden pieces with coloured cubes
- 16 circular wooden pieces with special action symbols
Objective
Be the first player to collect 7 wooden cubes according to a determined order and then reach the central space on the board.
Preparation
Randomly place the 44 circular wooden pieces on all the spaces on the board aside from the corners and the centre. Each player chooses a wooden player piece and its matching token. The player pieces start on the corners of the board and a matching player token is placed in front of each player. Each player also takes a set of cube tokens (one player takes all the stars, another takes circles, etc.). Place these tokens randomly in a row to the right of your player token and then flip them over to the cube side. Each player will have a different order for collecting the coloured cubes from the board, from left to right.
Gameplay
The youngest player starts and play moves clockwise. On each turn you can move like a knight in chess, in an L-shape. If you land on a cube that matches the colour you need to pick up next, you take it and place it under the matching token in your row. If the cube you land on does not match your next token, or you land on a blank space, nothing happens. If you land on a special symbol, you have the option to perform the action indicated:
- Move one space adjacent orthogonally (red circle with horizontal and vertical arrows, x 6 pieces)
- Move one space adjacent diagonally (black circle with diagonal arrows, x 3 pieces)
- Move again in another L-shape (cube with +1, x 3 pieces)
- Warp to one of the other warp points (diamond, x 3 pieces)
- Protect your wooden cubes already collected when you land on the save symbol (a double-bordered hexagon, x 1 piece)
It is possible to move multiple times during your turn if you land on special symbols. You may not land on a spot already occupied by another player except if they have collected a wooden cube piece matching your next colour and that piece is unprotected. If this is the case, you steal their wooden cube, and the other player must move the cube token of that colour to the end of their row. The player who just had their cube stolen must also move their player piece to an empty corner of the board.
To protect your cubes collected thus far, when you land on the save space, you'll place the wooden cube pieces on top of the cube tokens to indicate that they are protected. These cubes cannot be stolen.
End
When a player has collected their 7 cubes in the correct order and reaches the central space, they win.
