Components

• 1 ocean board, with 4 jetties
• 1 island board
• 4 palm trees
• 36 turtles (10 each red, green, and blue, and 6 yellow)
• 1 cloth bag

Game Setup

1. Place the bottom of the box in the middle of the playing area. Choose a jetty. This will be your turtles' entry point to Sun Island!
2. Fit the ocean board with the jetties onto the top of the box.
3. Position the island board in the open space between the four jetties.
4. Insert palm trees into the provided slots on each jetty.
5. Put all turtles into the bag.
6. Pull 8 turtles from the bag and put them in the center of the island board.

How to Play

Play in clockwise turn order, starting with the player who last saw a real turtle!

On your turn, pull 1 turtle out of the bag.

Place the turtle on the jetty in front of you and push it carefully onto the island.

Important: Turtles don't like to move fast. Push your turtles gently from behind using just 1 finger. Slow and steady wins this game!

Stop pushing once the turtle has moved completely onto the island past the edge of the jetty.

• Did all of the turtles stay on the island? Awesome! All turtles enjoy the sun. Your turn is over and it's now the next player's turn.
• Did any turtles fall into the ocean? Oh, no! Bummer! Take those turtles out of the water and set them in front of you. Now it's the next player's turn.

Important: If 1 or more yellow turtles fall into the sea during your turn, take another turn. Pull 1 more turtle out of the bag and push it onto the island.

Game End

The game ends when a player has 3 turtles of the same color or 5 turtles of any color (7 in a 2 player game). The winner is the player with the fewest turtles in front of them. In the case of a tie, all players with the lowest number of turtles win!

After the game: Remove the ocean board with the jetties. Take the palm trees and island board, and place them along with the turtles and the bag into the box bottom. Then take the ocean board with the jetties and fit it upside down into the box bottom.
