Components

  • 19 white wooden discs
  • 6 wooden tokens (3 each in black and red)

Goal of the Game

Each player aims to be the first to place their three personal coloured tokens on neighbouring discs.

Setup

The 19 discs are arranged alongside each other in a hexagon shape. The black and red tokens are placed alternately on the 6 corner fields. Each player chooses a colour. The first player is nominated.

How to Play

On their turn, a player carries out two actions in order.

1. Moving a Token

The player on turn moves one of their tokens in any straight line up to the edge of the game field, or until it meets another token.

Red has three different options for the first move. In a later game scenario, a red token can have four different options to move.

2. Relocating a Disc

After moving the token, the player takes away one free disc (with no token on it) from the edge of the field and relocates it to another position. The following rules must be observed:

  • It is only allowed to take away those discs that can be slid out of position, without moving another disc in the process.
  • Important: On the following move, the opponent is not allowed to move the disc that a player has just relocated.
  • When repositioning the disc, it must have contact with at least two other discs.
  • It is allowed, however, to take away a disc so that another disc is left with contact to only one disc after the move.

Game End

The winner of the match is the first player who succeeds in placing all three of their own-coloured tokens on immediately neighbouring discs. The tokens can be connected in a straight line, a triangular shape, or a tick (bent) format.
