No. Trap only works at the start of the battle; a Baddie arriving later missed its chance to set traps. Baddie skills aren't skill dice, so rounds where Gearlocs can't use skill dice don't stop Trap. In solo encounters with face-down Baddies, Trap triggers when the Baddie is revealed.
