She can't lose her last HP while the Guard is in play, and she can't be targeted, but non-targeting damage such as Throwing Knives or the second part of Breaking of Daelore still hits her. Simultaneous damage that also kills a 1-HP Guard leaves her alive, but if you resolve one target at a time (attack the Guard, then use a skill on her) you can kill the Guard first. Once the Guard is gone, her own bomb or Detonate can kill her.
