From the Fatigue rounds (after Round 5) on, each unit on the mat loses 1 HP at the start of each round. It is not counted as any type of damage and can't be blocked or defended against, and Mechs are immune. Diagonal movement opens by the round counter's value, even if rounds were skipped.
