Do Baddie skills trigger when its attack rolls nothing or is blocked?
Yes. A Baddie's skills apply as soon as it attacks, whatever its dice show, so a Poison skill can poison even if no damage gets through. A skill that needs a target only triggers if a valid target is in the Baddie's attack range, so a melee Baddie with no adjacent opposing unit doesn't use it. A Baddie that picks a target before rolling doesn't switch afterwards.
