Do curses stay after the Ghost Train is retired, and how do I remove them?

Question

Accepted Answer

Yes, a curse stays until you remove it by playing three train cards. There is no limit on how many curses you can remove at once beyond your hand. You can also pay the three cards to remove one during the Government Grants step at setup.
