Setup
Give each player one rock garden scoresheet to place next to their two primary scoresheets.
Gameplay
In every round, at the end of the Gardening Phase, each player may fill one box in their rock garden. They must choose a box whose number matches the value of the die they chose from the action rondel.
- This applies to your chosen die only. You cannot fill a box whose number matches the value of the shared die instead.
- Use the final value of your chosen die, after any modifications that you applied (i.e., compost, Iris bonuses). This value should match the zone where you took your garden action.
When you complete a row or column (1-6 boxes), fill one empty circle at either end of that row or column and gain the listed bonus immediately. Bonuses include points, goods, compost. and specific actions.
Bonus icons:
- One perennial icon (a flower tile) / two perennial icons = 1 or 2 perennial actions
- One water icon (a drop) / two water icons = 1 or 2 water actions
Bonus Actions
You can spend up to three bonus actions in the section at the bottom of the rock garden scoresheet. Fill these boxes from left to right. When you fill a circle, fill any one numbered box in your rock garden.
