Goal
The goal is to build the largest completed pyramid before the pharaoh dies.
Building Rules
A pyramid is complete if its top ends in diagonals and its vertical walls do not exceed the height of one square stone.
Setup
Sort all the stones by size. Take as many dice as there are players.
Place square stones equal to the number of players in the middle of the table. The square stones in the center of the table are the pharaoh's life.
Take one rectangular stone as the base of your pyramid. Take one small triangular stone into your reserve.
Play
The first player rolls the dice. Each player chooses one die, takes the corresponding stone and builds their own pyramid. You may put a stone into your reserve, taking out the stone that was in the reserve. The reserve holds 1 stone. Stones may be rotated. This continues clockwise until only one stone is left. If there are no stones left matching the symbols on the dice, the player must take a stone from the center. If a stone cannot be placed in the pyramid, the player puts it in front of them and scores -2 VP at the end of the game. Placed stones cannot be moved.
Each stone must touch one side and one corner of another stone. There must be no gaps in the base. The stripes on a stone must run vertically or horizontally.
End of the Game
The game ends when all the square stones have been used and some player takes a die showing the square stone symbol. If you are the player who takes the last square stone of the pharaoh's life, you score 0 points, no matter how impressive your pyramid may be.
Victory Points
The score is the length multiplied by the height, minus the number of separate pyramid peaks. The unit of size = 1 square. Unfinished pyramids score 0 points.
