Game Overview
A game of The Necrohamster is played over a number of rounds. Each round is split into a draw phase, followed by a summon phase, then an ability phase.
Rounds are played until any player summons their 8th creature card. At the end of that round the game ends and the player with the most points is declared the winner.
Game Round
Draw Phase (Skip This Round 1)
- Pass the starting player card clockwise.
- Each player draws 3 cards.
Summon Phase
- Each player simultaneously selects one creature card from their hand to summon (you can decide not to summon a card instead).
- To summon a creature card discard other cards from your hand equal to that card's summon cost.
- Place the summoned creature card in your personal play area.
Ability Phase
- Beginning with the starting player then progressing clockwise, each player resolves any effects triggered by creature cards they have summoned.
Title Cards
A title card is claimed as soon as it's prerequisite is met.
If two players meet the same prerequisite during the summon phase then it goes to the player higher in player order. Player order is worked out from the starting player then progressing clockwise.
