The Morrison Game Factory requires no setup and no complicated rules. Simply open the box, read the introduction letter, and start examining the clues and objects within.

Using the physical items in the box along with the online element, you will discover who worked at the Morrison Game Company and what happened to them.

In the event that you get stuck on a puzzle, you'll have a detailed online hinting system at your disposal. It will always be available to nudge you in the right direction without giving away the answer, and it also offers spoiler-free solution verification, so you can check whether an answer is correct without being shown the answer itself.

Getting Unstuck

This is a general answer PostCurious gives about all of its puzzletale games, and it applies to The Morrison Game Factory as well: the publisher likes to give players a real challenge, but knows that getting stuck without help is no fun. That's why every PostCurious game — including this one — ships with an easily accessible online hint system, as well as spoiler-free solution verification, so you can check whether you have the right answer without being shown what that answer is.

What Is a "Puzzletale"?

A puzzletale — PostCurious's own term for the genre The Morrison Game Factory belongs to — is a game or experience that uses puzzles as the main mechanic to drive forward a narrative. Rather than being a story with puzzles bolted on, the puzzles themselves are how the story of the Morrison Game Company and the people who worked there is uncovered.
