The Mission
Live the Minion life! Hit the road for a roller-coaster ride of adventure and unexpected surprises.
Be the first to get 5 bunches of bananas and become Gru's favourite Minion!
Set It Up
The first time you play, press the 4 Spin to Win tokens from the die-cut sheet and discard the 4 blank cards from the deck. Please dispose of the waste responsibly.

Open the gameboard
- Twist the main spinner and mini-spinners into place as shown in pictures A and B.
- Put all the bananas on the beach.
- Split the cards into 2 decks (Career and Action cards). Shuffle each deck and place them face down next to the board.

Give each player
- 1 Minion mover and 1 Spin to Win token that matches the colour of the mover base.
- 3 Banana Bucks

Choose a player to be banker
- The banker gives you your salary when you pass over or land on Payday.
- They're in charge of the Banana Bucks, but can still play, too!

Pick a career
- Take 2 Career cards from the top of the deck.
- Choose your favourite (or the highest salary!) and place it face up in front of you – this is your job, for now!
- Return the other to the bottom of the deck.

Place your Minion on the START space
You're ready to go!
How to Win
Move your Minion around the board picking up Action cards and having adventures! The first player to collect 5 bunches of bananas wins!
There are 4 ways to get bananas:
- By landing on a Banana space or a Steal a Bunch space (see Board Spaces).
- With certain Action cards.
- By winning Spin to Win.
- By paying 5 Banana Bucks to the bank during your turn.
How to Play

The youngest player starts. Play continues clockwise.

Spin and move Choose which direction you want to go, then spin the spinner, and move forward that number of spaces.

Where did you land? Check the Board Spaces section as you land on or pass over them.

It's the next player's turn!
The following 3 spaces appear a lot in the game. Here's what they do:
- ACTION spaces: The board spaces with circles (on both metal and bamboo tracks) are Action spaces. If you land on an Action space, take an Action card, do what it says, and put it at the bottom of the deck.
- PAYDAY spaces: If you pass over or land on a Payday space during your turn, the banker will give you your salary, which is listed on your career card. Payday spaces are on the metal and bamboo tracks.
- MINI-SPINNER spaces: If you land on or pass over a mini-spinner, pause and spin your Minion, then keep moving in the direction you're facing. If your turn ends on the spinner, move on to the next space in the direction it's chosen and act accordingly.
Board Spaces
Spin to Win spaces
Spin to Win! Everyone choose a number and place your matching colour token on the Spin to Win track. The player who landed here chooses first.
Spin the main spinner and keep spinning until someone's number comes up. The winner gets a bunch of bananas!
Tube spaces
If you land directly on a tube, follow the tunnel and come out the other end! That's the end of your turn.
On your next turn, move in any direction.
Career spaces
Take 2 Career cards from the top of the deck and pick one – this is your new job!
Put the other cards at the bottom of the deck.
Banana spaces
Take 1 bunch of bananas from the beach!
The red cross means lose 1 bunch of bananas! Put them back on the beach. If you don't have any bananas, don't do anything.
Money spaces
Take the number of Banana Bucks shown on the space.
The red cross means lose the number of Banana Bucks shown on the space! If you haven't got any money, don't do anything.
STEAL A BUNCH spaces
Steal 1 bunch of bananas from another player! If they don't have any, they don't have to pay up.
You're on my space!
Land on the same space as another Minion? If they've got bananas, steal 1 bunch from them! Then stay where you are, your turn is over.
Action Cards
Pick up Action cards when you land on Action spaces. Read the card and do what it says!
- Get Banana Bucks: Take the number of Banana Bucks shown on the bottom of your Action card from Gru's bank. Remember, 5 Bucks will buy you 1 bunch of bananas!
- Lose Banana Bucks: Put the number of Banana Bucks shown on your Action card back in Gru's bank. If you don't have any, don't do anything.
- Get Bananas: Take 1 bunch of bananas from the beach.
- Lose Bananas: Put 1 bunch of your bananas back on the beach.
- Change Career: Take 2 Career cards from the top of the deck and pick one – this is your new job! Put the other cards at the bottom of the deck.
Banana Bucks
- Got lots of money? 5 Banana Bucks will get you a bunch of bananas.
- Got no money? If you don't have enough Banana Bucks when you need to pay up, pay what you can! Then it's the next player's turn.
Win
The first player to get 5 bunches of bananas is the winner!
Storing Your Game
Remove the mini-spinners before putting your gameboard back in the box.
