The Gallerist
Can I still promote an Artist after they become a Celebrity?
Several players quote a printed rule, but others disagree, the rulebook text on file lacks it, and no official post confirms it.

Probably yes. Page 14 of the printed rulebook, as players quote it, says a Celebrity "can still be promoted": you pay the normal Influence and take the promotion bonus, but the Artist gains no Fame since it is already at the maximum. The promotion marker stays on the Artist for Reputation tiles that count promotion levels. Some later printings reportedly drop that phrase, so check your copy.
