The Gallerist
What happens to a kicked-out Assistant if all four desks in my office are full?
The rulebook says an Assistant is removed if the desks are full, and the designer applied it to Assistants freed from contracts.

It is removed from the game (returned to the box). Normally a kicked-out Assistant goes to an empty desk. If an Assistant comes back from a flipped contract and your office is full, finish the Location action first; since it can't go to a desk, it is lost.
