A session is a run of quest steps from A## to E##. At the end of session 1 you pick one of three options in the E## step and start session 2 at the A step of that guild and region; session 2 then leads into the endgame for that region. Sessions 1 and 2 play the same way mechanically, though enemies and adventurers are stronger in session 2.
