Each player discards all Skill cards, the cards on the Board go to the Past except Global events and the Terrain card your figures stand on, and the remaining cards are stacked behind the Save divider. On resuming you return the Past, put back the saved Terrain with one Exploration card in front of each arrow, and restore each player's decks and Purse cards.
