If a Temporary event says to discard cards and banish the card and I go unconscious, is the card banished or returned?

Contested. The rulebook returns your TEMPORARY-keyword cards when you fall unconscious, but one reply argues an explicit "banish" in the consequence stands regardless. No official ruling.
