Are Skill cards discarded after I apply their effects?
The rulebook's "Skill cards" section covers this, and a Serious Poulp staff reply on BGG agrees; some posters read it differently.

Only if the effect says to discard or block them. Otherwise they stay in hand while their effect applies, as the rulebook says. Blacksmith is kept, Endurance is discarded, Reinforcement is blocked. Many Advanced Skills can be reused but only once per action resolution.
