Is death permanent, or can I return to a save point?
The rulebook's "You lose ..." section covers this; some posters read it differently.
Dying is permanent. When all characters are unconscious or a text says your adventure ends, you lose the threat and start a new adventure with the introductory scenario. Returning to the Citadel by choice ends a scenario but doesn't undo a loss, and some scenarios end the adventure if you return without meeting their requirements.
